section 3 quote

"Seven times cursed seven times sealed"(Wiesel) pg.43.

Elie was sent to a camp and from being judged he was very worried about him and his father. Him being sent to camps and going through alot to survive and seeing people that have been hurt and are weeping over loved ones being burned right in front of them.

"Never shall I forget those flames which comsumed my faith forever"(Wiesel) pg.43

Elie is saying that when he first arrived at the camp he saw so many kids, adults, and even kids his age and he being worried about him being one of those kids dieing with them and losing his life forever. Elie losing everything he had ever wanted in life about his studies and what would his family do when he is gone and what about his mother and sister. Standing there in front of those flames made him think this and worrying about his father watching him die.

Knight section 1 and 2

"A wind of calmness and reassurance blew through our houses"pg.16 (Elie Wiesel)

This means that when some of the foreigners left that some were very happy. It also might mean that you are feeling good that nothing bad is going to happen to you or anybody in that house and you can go on with your everyday life and noot e worried about anything.

"The news spread like wildfire. Soon it was on everybodies lips." pg.19 (Elie Wiesel)

This means that what every they wanted to get out and tell everyone about they would because they would tell everyone. Everyone would hear about it if they wanted to listen that was there choice so the everyone lips is saying that they are going to tell anyone they come into contact with.
